Built to be found across Greater Manchester
When someone needs a boiler repair in Sale or a heating engineer in Stockport, they’re looking for a local business that can help. The website needed to target those searches without relying on one generic Greater Manchester service page.
I planned the site around the heating services people search for and the areas they search in. This meant creating a clear structure of service pages, location pages and supporting advice content, with internal links helping visitors and search engines move between them.
Why the website structure matters
A heating business offering boiler installations, repairs, servicing and heat pumps needs to be visible for different types of searches. Someone looking for a new boiler has different questions from someone whose heating has stopped working.
Rather than trying to cover everything on a handful of pages, I built separate service sections supported by relevant location pages and practical advice articles. This gives each topic room to be covered properly, and creates opportunities to target more specific searches as the website grows.
Content planned for local search

A website built with local SEO in mind
The website is now live, with its service pages, location pages and advice content providing the foundation for an ongoing local SEO campaign.
I’m continuing to develop the site’s visibility through content improvements, local citations and search optimisation. As the site builds up meaningful search data, I’ll update this case study with organic traffic, keyword visibility and enquiry results.
