COOKIES POLICY

Cookies on this website

What cookies this site uses and how to control them.

Last updated: 2 October 2026

This policy explains how snappysquid.co.uk, run by Sharon Fyles, trading as Snappy Squid, uses cookies and similar technologies. For how I handle personal information more generally, see the Privacy Policy.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files saved on your device when you visit a website. Some are needed for the site to work. Others help me understand how the site is used.

Your choices

When you first visit, a cookie banner (run by CookieHub) asks for your permission before any non-essential cookies are set. Analytics cookies are only used if you accept them. You can change your choice at any time using the cookie icon in the bottom-left corner of the screen, or by clearing cookies in your browser settings.

Other technologies

  • Google Fonts: the site’s fonts may load from Google’s servers, which means your IP address is shared with Google to deliver them. No cookies are set.
  • Security tools: my hosting and security plugins may use technical checks to block spam and attacks. These are strictly necessary and don’t track you.

Changes to this policy

If I add new tools that use cookies, I’ll update this page and the cookie banner.
