Out-of-date websites cause problems
WordPress, themes and plugins release updates all the time. Many fix security holes. Skip them and your site becomes an easy target, or simply stops working properly one day.
Updates can occasionally break things too, which is why they should be done carefully, with a recent backup ready. That’s exactly what a care plan is for.
Two simple plans
Every care plan includes
- WordPress core updates
- Theme and plugin updates
- Regular backups
- A check that the site works after updates
- Help if an update causes a problem
- Plain-English updates by email
- Fixed monthly price
- No long contracts
Is your site due for more than maintenance?
If your website is slow, hard to update or looking dated, a care plan will keep it safe but won’t fix the bigger problems. A redesign might be the better place to start.

What does website maintenance include?+
Updates to WordPress, your theme and plugins, regular backups, and a check that everything still works afterwards. Care Plus adds an hour of edits each month.
How much does website maintenance cost?+
My Care plan is £35 a month and Care Plus is £70 a month. There are no long contracts.
Do you look after sites you didn’t build?+
Usually, yes, as long as it’s a WordPress site. I’ll check it first and let you know if anything needs fixing before the plan starts.
What happens if an update breaks something?+
I’ll fix it or roll back to the backup, so your site is working again as quickly as possible.
Is hosting included?+
No. Most clients buy hosting directly so they own it outright. I’m happy to recommend a host.
Can I cancel?+
Yes. There are no long contracts.
